We are seeking to hire a self-motivated, efficient, responsible Business Office Manager, with Skilled Nursing Facility experience, who will be overseeing all business office functions and ensuring policy and procedure compliance in all areas. This is a direct hire: Full Time permanent position for a great, growing company. If you have a passion for healthcare, this is the right place.
Business Office Manager Responsibilities:
- Must have an understanding of Accounts Receivable.
- Established and maintains a system of financial record keeping, to include issuing receipts, preparing and making bank deposits, and recording payments.
- Interacts with support office billing team and payers to define billing requirements and ensures prompt payment of claims.
- Manages census activities including daily weekly, and monthly balancing with the nursing and admissions departments.
- Responsible for achieving cash collection and AR goals for the Facility.
- Confidentiality and privacy of all data, including patient/resident and operations data.
- Supports and participates in common teamwork.
- Uses tactful, appropriate communication in sensitive and emotional situations.
- Interacts with residents, family members, staff, visitors, government agencies/personnel, etc., under all conditions/circumstances.

Requirements
Required Skills: Excellent organizational skills are essential in order to successfully run the Business Office of a Skilled Nursing Facility. You will have a wide range of tasks and will need to manage all the details and deadlines. Along with organizational skills, you will need an ability to prioritize. You may have to manage projects with competing deadlines and must be able to balance tasks. Interpersonal skills are important as you will have to assist residents and their families. As a Skilled Nursing Facility Business Office Manager, you will also need the technical abilities to work with word processing and spreadsheet programs. Qualifications:
- 1+ years Skilled Nursing Facility Experience
- Knowledge of Point Click Care a plus.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Compassion for the elderly and commitment to hospitality and service•
