About the Role

Description

Program: Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team

Pay: Range starts at $23.50/hour (pay is calculated based on years of licensed experience)

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 9am-5pm

Job Summary and Deliverables

The Substance Use Disorder Counselor (SUDC) works with clients individually and in group settings and teaches skills on behavior modification with the goal of full recovery.

  • Manages caseload including care plan and ASAM management
  • Teaches groups and individual sessions utilizing evidence-based practices and behavior modification with the intention of full sobriety
  • Collaborates with a team of multi-disciplinary mental health professionals
  • Mentors clients who are in an intensive residential treatment program for substance abuse and mental health disorders
  • Provides positive role-modeling and teaches social/behavioral skills
  • Tracks and maintains client data

Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work

  • SUDC license in state of practice CPR
