Morris Animal Inn is a family-owned and operated luxury pet resort offering dogs & cats the finest in lodging, grooming, training & daycare services. We’re hiring a permanent, year-round Full Time Front Desk Receptionist to join our outstanding Guest Services team at our Montville location. Starting pay is $17.00 per hour.


What you'll be doing:

  • Warmly welcoming clients and their pets upon arrival
  • Answering phones, emails, and inquiries promptly and professionally
  • Scheduling and confirming appointments
  • Promoting services and knowledgeable answering client questions
  • Maintaining accurate client and pet records
  • Processing invoices and collecting payments
  • Managing pet check-in and check-out, including completion of required paperwork
  • Keeping the front desk and lobby clean and organized
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless, exceptional pet care

What you'll need to apply:

  • Prior work experience that focuses on engaging and assisting customers with a high degree of friendliness and professionalism 
  • Basic computer proficiency and comfort learning new software systems
  •  High attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment 
  • An appreciation for the fact that pet care is a 365-day business so availability to work on weekends and over holiday periods is required.
  •  A genuine love of dogs, cats, and people!
