A Team Leader will oversee daily operations and ensure smooth workflow during assigned shifts. This role involves managing team members, maintaining high standards of customer service, and ensuring compliance with company policies. The position requires physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks involving standing, bending, and walking for extended periods.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate team members to ensure efficient operations during shifts.
  • Monitor employee performance and provide coaching or feedback to improve productivity.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Assist with inventory management, including receiving and stocking supplies.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Complete administrative tasks accurately.
  • Train new employees and provide ongoing support to existing team members.

Secondary Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with management to achieve company goals and improve operations.
  • Assist in scheduling and workforce planning to ensure adequate coverage.
  • Support marketing and promotional activities as needed.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
  • Act as a liaison between team members and upper management to communicate concerns or suggestions.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours).
  • Frequent bending, stooping, and reaching to perform tasks such as cleaning and organizing.
  • Walking throughout the store or facility to oversee operations and assist team members.
  • Lifting and carrying items up to 25 pounds, such as supplies and inventory.
  • Manual dexterity to operate equipment, such as cash registers and computers.

Work Environment:

This role involves working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, often requiring collaboration with team members to meet customer demands. Flexibility in scheduling, including weekends and holidays, may be required.

  • Previous experience in a supervisory role
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks effectively
  • A positive attitude and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service
  • Knowledge of sanitation regulations
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, holidays and weekends
  • Food handler certification
