Patient Service Representative - Registration


We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Patient Services Representative to join our healthcare team. This vital role involves ensuring a positive experience for patients from the moment they contact our facility through their visit and follow-up care. Key Responsibilities:

- Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out procedures

- Collect and verify patient information, insurance details, and medical histories

- Respond to patient inquiries via phone, email, or in person, providing accurate information and support

- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and timely care delivery

- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with privacy regulations

- Assist with billing and payment processing as needed

- Support patient education and provide guidance on healthcare services and procedures

Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional healthcare or administrative training preferred

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office Suite

- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism

- Compassionate attitude and strong customer service orientation

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
