About the Role
<p data-path-to-node="7">Rigid Tactical is seeking a highly skilled <strong data-path-to-node="7" data-index-in-node="43">Exercise Planner & Operations Specialist</strong> to support high-stakes military training coordination at NAWS China Lake. The successful candidate will serve as a technical expert in range logistics, security clearance tracking, and long-range training synchronization, ensuring seamless execution of complex training evolutions for senior Command.</p><p data-path-to-node="3"><strong data-path-to-node="3" data-index-in-node="0">Location:</strong> NAWS China Lake, CA</p><p data-path-to-node="4"><strong data-path-to-node="4" data-index-in-node="0">Clearance:</strong> Active Secret</p><p data-path-to-node="5"><strong data-path-to-node="5" data-index-in-node="0">Compensation:</strong> $30.32.Hourly (SCA Contract) 5.09 Hourly (Health & Welfare) $36.01 per hour</p><hr data-path-to-node="8"><h3 data-path-to-node="9">Required Qualifications</h3><ul data-path-to-node="10"><li><p data-path-to-node="10,0,0">Military Operations & Planning: Minimum of 2 years of management-level experience within the past 4 years.</p></li><li><p data-path-to-node="10,1,0">Technical Proficiency: Expert-level command of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.</p></li><li><p data-path-to-node="10,2,0">Systems Expertise: Direct, hands-on experience with JPAS and DISS.</p></li><li><p data-path-to-node="10,3,0">Security Clearance: Must hold an active Secret clearance.</p></li><li><p data-path-to-node="10,4,0">Communication: Proven ability to interface with senior Command and manage administrative functions in high-pressure, restricted environments.</p></li></ul><hr data-path-to-node="11"><h3 data-path-to-node="12">Primary Responsibilities</h3><h4 data-path-to-node="13">Operations & Training Management</h4><ul data-path-to-node="14"><li><p data-path-to-node="14,0,0">Exercise Design: Develop and oversee comprehensive schedules for advanced training evolutions and large-scale exercises.</p></li><li><p data-path-to-node="14,1,0">Range Oversight: Direct all demolition and range scheduling specifically for NAWS China Lake facilities.</p></li><li><p data-path-to-node="14,2,0">Strategic Planning: Maintain Master Training Calendars and synchronize short- and long-range training objectives in coordination with all levels of Command.</p></li></ul><h4 data-path-to-node="15">Security & Personnel Readiness</h4><ul data-path-to-node="16"><li><p data-path-to-node="16,0,0">Clearance Tracking: Manage personnel security data through JPAS/DISS to ensure 100% compliance for range access.</p></li><li><p data-path-to-node="16,1,0">Logistics & Billeting: Oversee barracks billeting and track personnel readiness for units utilizing restricted training areas.</p></li></ul><h4 data-path-to-node="17">Administrative & Systems Optimization</h4><ul data-path-to-node="18"><li><p data-path-to-node="18,0,0">Information Management: Screen departmental correspondence, initiate administrative actions, and maintain a master library of regulatory references.</p></li><li><p data-path-to-node="18,1,0">Reporting: Standardize electronic forms and track recurring technical reports to ensure regulatory compliance.</p></li><li><p data-path-to-node="18,2,0">Records Management: Provide oversight for records maintenance, correspondence screening, and the generation of technical reports.</p></li></ul><hr data-path-to-node="19"><p data-path-to-node="21"> </p>
