Services include due diligence and feasibility studies, code assessments, construction cost opinions, energy audits and modeling, sustainable and LEED design services, preparing permit drawings and specifications, design peer review, bid analysis, construction phase administration, and commissioning. Maxson is experienced with multiple project delivery methods working with a full Design and Construction Team including Design-Bid-Build, CM/GC, Design-Assist, Design-Build, Pre-Purchase/Owner Furnished Equipment Packages, and Multiple Bid Packages. In addition, Maxson Engineering has extensive experience acting as the Prime Consultant for Owners on mechanically and/or electrically driven projects with strategic partners for Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering and Architectural.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  

  • Minimum of 10 years progressive experience in building construction industry
  • Proficiency in design of typical building plumbing systems including domestic water, waste/vent, and storm piping systems.
  • Comprehensive understanding of International Plumbing Code and related building codes and standards.
  • Proficient in Autodesk Revit.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Ability to travel occasionally
  • Proficient in Autodesk AutoCAD  

Education:

  • Associates degree in Engineering Technology/CAD or equivalent experience – preferred
