About the Role

Employment Type: Part time (22:05 hours per week), Permanent 
Classification: Health Professional Level 3, Psychologist Level 3 (PN 40170) 
Health Professional Level 3 Salary: $111,639 - $120,057 (Plus 12.5%25 Super)
Psychologist Level 3 Salary: $123,014 - $133,492 (Plus 12.5%25 Super)
Location: University of Canberra Hospital, Bruce ACT
Section: Adult Mental Health Day Service & Rehabilitation Unit (AMHDS & AMHRU)

About the Role:


As a senior health professional, you will use your expertise in the theoretical and practical application of a range of specialist therapeutic interventions to promote recovery in individuals with moderate to severe mental illness in both an outpatient and in-patient setting. You will deliver discipline-specific evidence-based individual and group interventions to promote wellbeing and meaningful occupation, as well as use your skills and knowledge in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) to provide leadership and delivery of the DBT program, including individual therapy and DBT skills group.

 

Under limited direction of the Allied Health Manager and Allied Health Clinical Lead, you will perform independent professional judgement on moderately complex tasks.

 

This position is offered on a part‑time basis within this service environment.

 

Please note

An Order of Merit may be used to fill future vacancies at the same level within a 12-month period.

This is a multi-classified position with possibility of appointment at Occupational Therapist, Social Worker or Psychologist. There is only one position available.
