Account Services Specialist - Full Time

Position Purpose:
Responsible for providing excellent, professional service to internal departments and members by phone or email. Responsible for posting transactions and file maintenance to member accounts. Performs clerical duties and supports all credit union initiatives.
Job Duties (Include but not limited to):
- Maintain knowledge of check handling procedures.
- Post payment according to policy.
- Assist with covering the front desk as assigned.
- Research and resolve questions regarding member accounts or issues.
- Review and assist with data checking.
- Review fraud alerts and provide feedback to branches.
- Provide support for IRAs, HSA Accounts.
- Process garnishments - restrict accounts and follow up as necessary.
Qualifications:
- High school graduate or equivalent; some college credits preferred
- Understanding of products and services.
- Knowledge of loan processing functions and related requirements and procedures.
- Knowledge of IRAs
Skills/Abilities:
- Strong typing abilities.
- Excellent member service skills required
- Attention to detail
- Well organized.
- Ability to read and understand procedures, manuals, and member correspondence
