Manager - Security & Systems

MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE

To manage, implement, and oversee all security operations and systems of the Facilities section, implements appropriate risk management strategies to protect all assets related to the safety and security of flydubai facilities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Creates, reviews, and implements security protocols and policies across all flydubai facilities, including the flydubai Campus and Airport Operations Center.
• Develops and circulates security procedures to counter threats, risks, and vulnerabilities affecting flydubai’s operations.
• Oversees and coordinates security operations, ensuring adherence to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Collaborates closely with the Admin & Fleet team to create and refine a security plan that supports all facility operations and projects.
• Manages all emergency and crisis response resources, providing timely and effective responses to incidents.
• Conducts security surveys of all flydubai facilities to identify security gaps and implement solutions.
• Communicates and reports security information to relevant stakeholders to ensure appropriate awareness and response.
• Advises the Security Department on implementing updated security standards and practices to maintain compliance.
• Leads and manages a team of external security guards, ensuring high performance and strict adherence to security protocols.
• Oversees the operation, maintenance, and optimization security systems, including CCTV, Access Control Systems (ACS), and gate barriers, ensuring functionality and facility security.
• Manages the secure and efficient operations of the datacenter systems limited to Panduit and PDU systems, ensuring secure and efficient operation.
• Oversees electrical systems (Low Voltage and Medium Voltage) and Building Management Systems (BMS) to ensure facility security and safety.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree (3+ years)
• Fluent in English & Arabic
• Minimum 5 years in airline Security systems
• Years with qualifications: 7 - 9 years

ISR REQUIREMENTS

Reads and complies with the ISR policies of the Company and diligently reports any weakness or incidents to the respective Line Manager or the Information Security team. Completes all required ISR awareness sessions and follows associated guidelines in the day-to-day business operations.
