Imagine starting your workday where the ocean is close, the turtles are famous and every guest arrives ready to relax. At Turtle Sands Resort, we’re all about creating memorable stays and our Housekeeping team play a huge part in that experience.
We’re looking for a hands-on, inspiring Housekeeping Manager to lead our team, lift standards, and bring our culture of warm, genuine hospitality to life.
What you will do:
As the Housekeeping Manager, you’ll be a key member of our head of department team, working closely with other department managers to ensure our resort runs like a dream. You’ll lead from the front, rolling up your sleeves when needed, while coaching and motivating your team to consistently deliver exceptional guest experiences.
No two days will be the same, but you’ll love the pace, variety and impact you can make:
- Leading, mentoring and developing a passionate Housekeeping team
- Managing rosters, recruitment and payroll with confidence
- Keeping a close eye on budgets and costs while maintaining quality
- Keeping daily housekeeping operations running smoothly and efficiently, including involvement in team recruitment activity
- Setting and maintaining high standards of cleanliness, presentation and guest service
- Working collaboratively with other departments for overall resort success
What you will bring:
- 3–5 years’ experience, with strong housekeeping expertise
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to build an engaged, happy team
- A hands-on approach! You’re not afraid to step in and help when needed
- A genuine passion for customer service and creating memorable stays
- Strong organisation skills, great attention to detail and excellent time management
- Experience managing budgets, costs and operational efficiencies
- Confidence using office systems and technology
- Flexibility to work across a 7-day roster, including weekends and public holidays
