About the Role:
Looking to launch your career in a role that truly makes a difference? Join our warm and welcoming Member Assistance team as a Sales and Service Consultant, you’ll be the first point of contact for our valued members, helping them find the right solutions across our trusted range of products and services.
This is an entry-level opportunity perfect for someone eager to grow. No contact centre experience? No worries! If you bring a positive attitude, a passion for helping others, and a willingness to learn, we’ll provide all the training and support you need to thrive.
You’ll gain confidence, develop in-demand skills, and be part of a team that celebrates wins and supports each other every step of the way.

Hours, Training and Location:

  • Start date 25th May with interviews scheduled to run on 29th April, so apply now!
  • Rate of pay is $33.53 per hour + super + penalty rates
  • Full time positions, 37.5 hours per week, 5 days a week, 8 hours a day including unpaid lunch break
  • Monday to Saturday (every second Saturday with a mid-weekday off)
  • 50%25 loading applies to Saturday rostering 
  • Rotating shifts, with start times between 6:30am and 10:00am
  • Finish times between 2:30pm and 6:00pm
  • Supported onsite training at our Eight Mile Plains location
  • Hybrid work from home – combination of onsite and at home after 3 – 6 months, based on performance.

  • Chatting with members to understand their needs and offer tailored solutions
  • Creating positive experiences with every interaction
  • Staying up to date with RACQ’s products and services

About You:

  • Friendly, engaging, and genuinely enjoy helping others
  • Calm under pressure and quick to bounce back from challenges
  • Eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced, team-focused environment
  • Confident using computers and communicating clearly
  • Hold a minimum Year 12 High School Certificate
