Identifying opportunity in the EHS Technical Safety Systems with regards to effective risk management pertaining to technical and process safety aspects.
Responsibilities
- Site Lead for Technical & Process safety agenda driving compliance to all technical safety aspects including MESS, process safety and associated action plan closure.
- Site lead for driving the process safety agenda and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure Process safety studies (HAZOP etc.) are performed where required and associated action items closed.
- Responsible for stewarding compliance to all key action items including MESS, HPR, GEHSMS, Risk Assessments etc. and ensure timely closure of the same.
Drive the Audits and inspections Agenda at site with effective coordination and mapping of all key EHS aspects. - Responsible for carrying out inspections of all critical and fundamental requirements of GEHSMS related technical standards and maintain compliance thru effective follow up and tracking of identified opportunities.
- Lead the auditing and inspection matrix for the site and ensure 100% compliance to the functional audit & inspection regime.
- Extend necessary support required during external audits and inspections planned as part of the EHS agenda.
- Drive the Risk management and mitigation agenda at site carrying out functional reviews of Risk assessments and validating control effectiveness at floor thru sample auditing and inspections.
- Drive the Top-site risks agenda and ensure mapping all critical aspects w.r.t risks and develop comprehensive action plans around it.
- Carry out quarterly analysis of Incident and near-miss data and present to stakeholders with robust action planning driving towards risk mitigation and control.
- Carry out field visits and audits as per schedule to drive improvement in safe work practices
Liaison with respective stakeholders to drive risk mitigation agenda at floor with exhaustive mapping of high-risk items. - Responsible for driving Emergency Response Trainings and Drills (ERP Update and Risk Evaluation) to ensure site preparedness.
- Site lead for ensuring effective risk planning and maintaining compliance to critical aspects including HPR, MESS, Fire Safety etc.
- Responsible for driving the Record management agenda for site EHS and ensure readiness of all EHS records as per defined frequency.
- Managing and stewarding key EHS agendas including Department of the Month & EHS Star performer.
- Site lead for data upkeep and compliance to myEHS modules and associated action plan closure.
- Responsible for carrying out EHS investigations and provide necessary support to stakeholders
Responsible for Driving the Shift EHS Resources to affectively deliver the KPIs and Auditing/Governance.
