SUMMARY:

The Human Resources Coordinator serves as the first point of contact for employees on HR-related matters, providing day-to-day support that ensures efficient HR operations and positive employee experience. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate employee data, supporting payroll and onboarding processes, coordinating training administration, and assisting with compliance and reporting requirements. The HR Coordinator helps ensure HR processes are executed accurately, consistently, and in alignment with company policies and regulatory requirements.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Serve as the first point of contact for employee questions, concerns, and HR-related requests, providing guidance or directing inquiries to the appropriate resources.

· Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records within the HRIS and other HR platforms, ensuring data integrity and proper documentation.

· Audit onboarding activities, including new hire documentation, system setup, and payroll enrollment to ensure smooth onboarding experience.

· Monitors and audit training systems to ensure completion and accuracy of employee training records. Ensure employee training is up to date.

· Prepare weekly payroll and collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate timecard approvals and timely payroll processing.

· Monitor and audit employee training records to ensure completion and compliance with internal training requirements and regulatory programs, including ETP.

· Participate in internal and external audits and support compliance reporting as required

· Participate in internal and external audits, including ETP compliance.

· Support workers' compensation administration and maintains OSHA log, as needed

· Track attendance points, maintain employee calendars, and ensure accurate documentation of attendance records.

· Submit temporary employee timecards to staffing agencies and coordinate related documentation.

· Ensure legal posting is up to date and reflect current regulations.

· Prepare and maintain monthly HR metrics, labor reports, and KPI tracking.

· Coordinate employee separations, including final pay coordination and initiation of termination workflows.

· Support benefit education efforts, including coordinating Lunch & Learns.

· Assist with employee training related to HR policies, systems, and procedures.

· Prepares weekly payroll and collaborates with the accounting team to ensure accurate timecard approvals and timely processing.

· Serves as the main point of contact for receiving and addressing employee questions, concerns, and escalates issues or complaints.

· Support the planning and execution of employee engagement activities and company events.

· Serve as a point of contact for HRIS, time clock system, and related troubleshooting.

· Ensure HR policies and procedures are followed and implemented appropriately.

· Perform additional duties or special projects assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of federal and state labor laws.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems; Paylocity preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Self-starter who can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

· Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred, but not required.

· At least 2+ years of Human Resources experience.

· Background supporting Human Resources in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred.

· Bilingual Preferred
