Documentation Specialist Associate - Kwajalein Atoll - 3832

RGNext employees execute and report on theater and strategic offensive and defensive ballistic missile testing and support space situational awareness operations and experiments, using a wide array of highly sophisticated radar, telemetry and optical sensors to meet the needs of the Department of Defense in defending the United States and its interests. This position is located on Kwajalein Atoll in the Marshall Islands. It is an unaccompanied position (no family accommodations or pets). Benefits of this unique location include free housing, three meals a day and a potential for overseas tax incentives.
What You Will Do:
- This rolefacilitatescreating technical and marine team documentation but will also play a supporting role in operations and maintenance.
- Assist in capturing organizational andprocessactions by researching, developing, writing, and updating policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Document marine systems including ship powerandengines, propulsion motors,chillers,and fire‑related systems. This will includeresearching and collecting relevant documentation toassistin creating maintenance and operations documentation.
- Document technical systems such as Flight Safety displayandtransmitsystems, telemetry, communications, networks, and power systems.
- Develop and draft new documentation to standards.
- Assistin coordinatingand supervisingthe management of equipment and facilities.
- Assist in managing thedepartmentschedule, tracking procurement, and preparing for meetings.
- Assists in the coordination, direction, and fulfillment of special projects.
- Manage and update Microsoft Teams and Maximo.
- Maintains continuity of workflow by documenting and communicating needed actions to management, discovering irregularities, and resolvingchallenges.
- Includes supportofsystems andteamon a ship, USAV Worthy.
- May assist in taking RF safety measurements and creating reports on the findings.
- Contribute other duties related to supporting the team and mission.
Skills Needed:
- Proficiencyin Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio).
- Good oral and written communication skills withabilityto define procedures and technical manuals.
- Self-motivated and effective in a team setting and individually.
- Highly efficient time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Strong organizational and process‑improvement skills.
- Strong capability to multitask and finish assigned projects before deadlines are due.
- Ability to occasionally travel to neighboring islands viahelicopterand smallplane.

Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelor’s degree inTechnical Writing/Communications/Journalism/ Business/Electronics/ITor applicablefield,a combination of education and experience, orexperience in lieu of education.
- Zero(0) or more years ofprofessionalexperienceutilizingthe above skills.
- Must be able to obtain andmaintaina DoDSecretsecurity clearance whichrequiresU.S. Citizenship.
- Must be able torelocateto the United States Army Kwajalein Atoll, Marshall Islands.
- Must be able to obtain andmaintaina U.S. passport.
- Ability to occasionally travel to neighboring islands viahelicopterand smallplane.
- Physical ability to fit and fly in a helicopter and smallaircraft. Must have a waist circumference of 42” or less to ride in helicopters.
- Ability to work on a ship and go tosea.
- The flexibility to work occasional non-duty hours or on weekends to support specific project or mission requirements.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Proficiencyin AutoCAD.
- Proficiencyin managingJiraor Microsoft Teams.
- Background in marine or ships.
- Background in electronics, RF, or other technicalfield.
- Technical schools or equivalent military experience.
