Housekeeper - Senior Living (Full Time)

As a housekeeper, your primary responsibility is enriching the lives of our residents by keeping their home (their apartments and the community) neat, clean and safe, and doing so with a genuine, deep respect for the individual autonomy of our residents.

Other primary responsibilities include:

• Assist residents with weekly housekeeping and laundry services, including washing bed linens and making the bed, cleaning the kitchen and bathroom, tidying up (as appropriate) and providing other housekeeping services as requested
• Occasionally assist residents with mobility issues, including escort and transfer
• Clean common areas of the community per schedule
• Keep a diligent eye on the physical spaces inside and outside the building, cleaning and tidying up as you go, and reporting maintenance and safety issues to the Maintenance Director
• Store all cleaning chemicals and equipment in a secure location when not in use
• Observe residents for safety and report any change of condition or other pertinent information to Resident Services Director

Requirements

Qualifications:

• At least 21 years of age
• High school diploma or GED, preferred
• Experience interacting with and deeply relating to seniors
• Meets all applicable licensing and background requirements

• Ability to work Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
