We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the in the School of Science & Technology:



Major Duties and Responsibilities 

The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following:

  • Coordinating and providing general support to the daily operations of the School of Science and Technology, including academic programmes, quality assurance, research, projects and activities carried out by the School;

  • Providing secretarial support for school committees;

  • Handling enquiries and liaising with internal and external parties;

  • Assisting in general administrative duties including office management, event organization, recruitment, budgeting and staff supervision; and

  • Performing any other duties as assigned by the Dean (S&T) or his/her nominee(s).

 

Candidates

Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence:

  • A recognized degree with post-qualification working experience, preferable in the tertiary education sector;

  • Attentive to details, self-motivated, responsible and have the ability to multitask;

  • Good organization and interpersonal skills;

  • Good computer skills; and

  • Good communication skills in English and Chinese (including Putonghua).

 

Terms and Conditions for Appointment

An attractive remuneration package, including basic salary, an end-of-contract gratuity, and a discretionary incentive payment, where applicable, will be offered to the right candidates. Generous annual leave, staff-development sponsorships, medical and dental benefits, and life insurance coverage will also be provided.
