Senior AWS Developer

We are seeking experienced Senior AWS Developers to join a strategic enterprise transformation initiative. You will play a key role in building a modern, AWS-native serverless integration platform as part of a large-scale replatforming effort, migrating from Boomi to a cloud-native, event-driven architecture on AWS.

The project focuses on replatforming and modernizing an existing Boomi-based integration solution. Current integrations span Salesforce, SAP/S4, Snowflake, MSSQL databases, and SFTP file exchanges. While functional, the existing platform faces challenges in scalability, observability, and flexibility. The target solution leverages AWS-native services such as Amazon API Gateway, AWS Lambda, AWS Step Functions, Amazon SQS, and Amazon CloudWatch to deliver a resilient, scalable, and secure integration platform.

Scope of Work

• Migration and refactoring of 56 API endpoints
• Design and implementation of secure, scalable integration patterns
• Real-time API and batch/file-based integrations
• Deployment across Development, UAT, and Production environments
• Implementation of Secure by Design principles
• Post-go-live support through 2 years of Application Management Services (AMS) with defined SLAs

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop serverless integration solutions on AWS
• Implement integration logic using Python and AWS Lambda
• Expose and manage APIs via Amazon API Gateway
• Orchestrate workflows with AWS Step Functions
• Implement asynchronous messaging using Amazon SQS
• Integrate enterprise systems (Salesforce, SAP/S4, Snowflake, MSSQL, SFTP)
• Apply security best practices with IAM, KMS, WAF, Secrets Manager
• Implement monitoring, logging, and tracing using CloudWatch and AWS X-Ray
• Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
• Participate in operational readiness and AMS handover

AWS Services & Technologies: Amazon API Gateway; AWS Lambda; AWS Step Functions; Amazon SQS; Amazon S3; AWS WAF; AWS IAM; AWS KMS; AWS Secrets Manager; AWS Certificate Manager (ACM); Amazon CloudWatch; AWS X-Ray; AWS CodeCommit and CI/CD tools.

Required Experience & Skills

• 5+ years of experience in IT or software development
• 3+ years of hands-on Python development
• Strong experience with AWS cloud and serverless architectures
• Expertise in API-based and event-driven integrations
• Solid understanding of cloud security best practices
• Experience with enterprise integration platforms
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
• Strong analytical and communication skills

Nice to Have

• Experience migrating from iPaaS platforms (Boomi, MuleSoft)
• Background in large enterprise integration programs
• Exposure to AMS or production support environments
• AWS certifications
