We are Looking for:
Someone who is an experienced Medical Assistant for a multispecialty medical practice. The medical assistant should perform a supportive role in delivering comprehensive care to the patient that is safe, effective, and efficient.
Responsibilities:
- Room patients and obtain vital signs, medical history, and chief complaints
- Assist providers during patient examinations and procedures
- Perform allergy skin testing and document results accurately
- Administer allergy injections (immunotherapy) in accordance with protocols
- Monitor patients for adverse reactions and respond appropriately
- Prepare and maintain exam rooms, equipment, and supplies
- Provide patient education on allergy treatments and medications
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system
- Follow all infection control and HIPAA guidelines
- Performs related duties as required.

Requirements
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred
- Experience in an Allergy & Immunology clinic or similar specialty
- Knowledge of allergy skin testing (scratch/prick and intradermal testing)
- Experience administering allergy immunotherapy injections
- Knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
