Our professional staff includes: Fisheries biologists, Factory trained fountain specialists, and Licensed aquatic applicators. Our services include vegetation management plans, treatment programs, fountain/aeration system installation, fish population surveys and mapping.
About the Role
Description
Aquatic Control Inc. is a privately owned lake and pond management company with our home office in Seymour, Indiana; and satellite offices in Valparaiso, IN; Evansville, IN; Truesdale, MO; Jackson, TN; Knoxville, TN; Williamsville, IL; Elkhart, IA; Davenport, IA; Elizabethtown, KY; and Lakemoor, IL. We are actively growing and need to add a Pond and Lake Technician at our Seymour, Office.
The Position:
- EPA registered aquatic herbicide and algaecide application
- Installation and maintenance of aerators, fountains, and compressed air systems
- Aquatic plant surveys
- Assisting with and writing vegetation management plans
- Fish management surveys
- Assisting with fish survey reports
- Data entry and management
- General maintenance of trucks, boats, equipment, and grounds

Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Insurable Driving Record
- Pass Pre-Employment Drug Screening & DOT Physical
- Comfortable Driving Truck & Boat Trailer Combination
- Basic mechanical ability (experience in outboard motor operation is a plus)
- Ability to work in an outdoor environment (physical labor required)
- Ability to work an average of 50-60 hours per week
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs
