Reports to: Head of Production Scheduling (RSTO MM), dotted line to Head of Network Direct Materials Planning (PTSI)

The Network Direct Materials Planner plays a pivotal role in owning the supply of direct materials to support production, and maintaining the continuity of product supply to patients.
This position will be mainly responsible for network demand, supply and inventory planning for the manufacturing network.
This role reports functionally to the Site Materials Planning/Scheduling Team, and operates under the global mandate of the Network Direct Materials Planning team, including adherence to global process standards and goals.
The Opportunity
Planning & Inventory Management
Own and manage the network direct materials plan based on inventory strategy and targets, forecasts, supplier constraints and category strategies
Review MRP at network and site levels, evaluate purchase decision & intercompany transfers and optimize inventory and service level
Monitor and manage shortage risks across the network, serve as the first point of escalation and follow defined escalation path as needed
Network Strategy & Risk Management
Own E2E performance for assigned materials, including driving performance improvement actions
Represent direct material planning within different global forums and lead network-level improvement initiatives, ensuring a strong local-global alignment at all times
Co-lead DM risk management process with Material Sciences and Global Procurement
Who you are
You have the ability to build and sustain relationships with stakeholders, think end-to-end and lead process improvements and issue resolution.
You have strong verbal and written communication in English, plus the local language of the site you are applying to.
You bring a continuous improvement mindset, innovative and process-oriented thinking and excellent organizational skills
You have strong analytical and systematic problem-solving skills to identify key issues, develop optimal solutions, and implement action plans
Education & Experience:
You bring 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management, Buying-Planning, Category management
You have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or Engineering.
You have experience with supply chain planning systems (e.g., OMP)
