About the Role

Description

The Business Process Engineer is responsible for accelerating the Bank’s digital transformation through the deployment of AI-driven solutions and optimization of end-to-end business processes. This role combines technical implementation expertise with business process engineering to deliver scalable, secure, and compliant solutions aligned with banking regulations and operational requirements.

This position serves as a key bridge between business operations and technology, translating regulatory and operational needs into effective technical solutions while supporting the deployment of AI platforms and workflow systems across the organization.


Essential Functions:

Solution Deployment & Process Optimization:

  • Analyze and document end-to-end business processes, identifying inefficiencies, dependencies, and opportunities for improvement
  • Develop integrations with core banking systems, enterprise applications, and third-party financial platforms.
  • Understand and evaluate end-to-end business processes, including AI frameworks, and redesign them to enable AI-driven solutions and workflows across banking operations.
  • Translate operational and regulatory requirements into actionable technical specifications.
  • Ensure all solutions meet banking industry compliance standards and data governance requirements.
  • Connect processes, systems, and data to ensure regulatory traceability and audit readiness.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and external service providers and IT vendors to ensure seamless solution delivery.
  • Break down complex business and technical challenges into manageable components using structured problem-solving techniques.

Technical Leadership & Collaboration:

  • Drive technology adoption and innovation across departments while managing cross-functional stakeholder relationships.

Analytics & Continuous Improvement:

  • Perform data analysis and build dashboards to support decision-making and regulatory reporting.
  • Create and maintain process diagrams using modeling tools.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform (GitHub Copilot, GitHub, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
  • Experience with workflow systems, including configuration and optimization (e.g., Northridge systems).
  • Solid understanding of data pipeline development, data management, and governance.
  • Foundational understanding of AI technologies, including AI agents and Copilot integrations.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and strategic planning abilities.
  • Proven ability to manage cross-departmental and cross-functional relationships.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences and regulators.
  • Agile project management and execution skills with the ability to operate in fast-paced, regulated environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive organizational change and technology adoption.
  • Proven experience in business process engineering and technical solution deployment within financial services.
  • Nice to have: Experience with banking systems.

Qualification/Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Experience in business process engineering and technical solution deployment, preferably within financial services.
