Social Media/Marketing Intern

Molak Corporation is hiring a Social Media Marketing Intern in the historic town of Gruene, TX! This entry-level internship is ideal for a student interested in social media, content creation, photography/videography, and event marketing. No prior experience needed, just creativity, curiosity, and a willingness to learn. 

Our marketing team supports iconic restaurants, retail stores, and live music venues across Central Texas, producing authentic, high-quality content that reflects our uniquely Texan brand identity. If you love live music, social media, and capturing great moments, this role is for you!  


Duration: Monday, May 11th, 2026 – Monday, July 6, 2026  

Hours:15 hours per week; must be available nights and weekends; hybrid schedule with no more than 25% administrative tasks. Extra hours available if preferred by applicant.   

Compensation: $15-$20 per hour

Where you will work – The Corporate Office

This position is based at our Corporate Office in the heart of Gruene, Texas, located just above Mozie’s and steps away from the charm and energy of historic Gruene. You’ll be surrounded by some of our most iconic concepts, giving you a unique opportunity to experience our brand firsthand and contribute to the storytelling behind it.

Our corporate office is a collaborative, fast-paced environment where creativity and hospitality come together. As a Marketing Intern, you’ll work closely with our team on-site, gaining hands-on experience while being immersed in the culture that defines our company.

What you will do

  • Capture engaging photo and video content at concerts, events, and throughout the district (including evenings and weekends)
  • Assist with photography and video shoots across all properties
  • Edit content for Instagram Stories, Reels, TikTok, and other social platforms
  • Post and manage social media stories throughout the week, ensuring timely and consistent content
  • Collaborate with the creative and marketing teams to brainstorm, create, execute content, campaigns, and promotional strategies
  • Help plan, schedule, and organize social media content in alignment with brand voice and storytelling
  • Manage community engagement by responding to comments, messages, and supporting user-generated content initiatives
  • Support event setup and assist with day-of event execution as needed
  • Represent the brand professionally across all content, interactions, and assignments
  • Provide general administrative and team support as needed

What you will learn

  • Create at least 10 unique, on-brand visual assets (photo campaigns and/or short-form videos) using Adobe Creative Cloud, CapCut, and similar tools, following brand style guidelines.
  • Assist in managing a paid social campaign, from audience research to creative A/B testing, gaining exposure to real marketing strategy and analytics.
  • Strengthen visual storytelling skills through mentorship and weekly feedback sessions.
  • Apply social media and content marketing concepts within a multi-brand hospitality environment.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills across digital, visual, written, and interpersonal channels.
  • Understand the workflow of marketing operations, event promotion, and brand development within a fast-paced entertainment district over multiple concepts.

Feedback/Evaluation Process

  • The intern will be directly supervised by the Social Media Coordinator, with additional mentorship from the Marketing Team.
  • Weekly meetings with the Social Media Coordinator to review progress, active projects, and skill development. 
  • Midpoint evaluation to assess growth and identify opportunities for improvement. 
  • Final evaluation reviewing completed projects, strengths, and recommendations for continued development. 
  • Continuous creative feedback is provided during content submissions and project check-ins.  

What you bring - minimum qualifications

  • Ability to work at least 3 days (15 hours) per week, including nights and weekends 
  • Current undergraduate student in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Digital Media, or related fields preferred 
  • Strong interest in social media, events, photography, videography, and content creation 
  • Familiarity with Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, and basic iPhone photography/videography 
  • Positive attitude and eagerness to learn 

Physical requirements and working conditions 

  • Must be able to stand and walk for 3+ or more hours during events
  • Capable of lifting up to 20 lbs and over 20 lbs. with assistance
  • Frequent lifting, carrying, bending, reaching, squatting, climbing, and walking
  • Exposure to loud noise, large crowds, and extreme hot/cold temperatures
