About the Role

Description

GSF Properties Inc. is looking for a Community Manager in Bakersfield, CA, come join a dynamic property management team!


In this role, you will oversee the effective management, marketing, and maintenance of the apartment community while achieving the financial objectives of the owner and management company and ensuring full compliance with all applicable regulatory standards and requirements.


This position is scheduled for Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 8-5 and Saturdays 10-2. The pay schedule for this position is $22-$24/hour.


  • Collaborate with Portfolio Manager to establish appropriate rent levels.
  • Review rent schedules and oversee preparation and submittal of rent increases and renewals.
  • Maintain optimum level of occupancy.
  • Process timely and accurate move-ins, move-outs, and renewals.
  • Follow company marketing policies and reporting requirements.
  • Ensure the property and grounds are well maintained.
  • Report property incidents, accidents, and injuries in accordance with company policy.
  • Resolve resident issues and conflicts timely and in accordance with site guidelines.
  • Support maintenance operations by partnering with your Maintenance team to provide a sparkling product through preventive maintenance, timely and efficient repairs, and a highly organized make-ready process.
  • Partner with your Regional or Portfolio Manager to prepare and follow an operating budget and to plan community capital improvements, repairs, contract developments, and negotiations.

Requirements

Community Manager – Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in property management or a related field
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines consistently
  • Exceptional communication, organization, and attention to detail
  • Experience with financial budgeting and processing
  • Ability to manage a high-volume workload while maintaining accuracy and efficiency
  • Must be able to work the following schedule:
    • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
    • Saturday: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
    • (36 hours per week total)
