Kings Card Club is looking for a Bartender to join our team! 


We are seeking candidates who are available to work nights and weekends.

SUMMARY

Mixes and serves alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks to patrons of bar by performing the following duties.


QUALIFICATIONS

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (OTHER DUTIES MAY BE ASSIGNED)

  • Takes orders from customers or Bar Waiter/Waitress
  • Check I.D. to ensure guests are 21 years old
  • Follow the 10 Basic Steps of Service
  • Monitor level of intoxication and behavior of guests
  • Arrange bottles and glasses to make attractive display, slices fruit for garnishing drinks, and make sure bar is clean and neat throughout shift.
  • Collecting all excess glasses from bars and restocking them in the designated area and retrieving bar glassware from dish areas.
  • Replaces and rotates draft beer kegs and soda bag-in-boxes as required.
  • Soaks and clean coolers, storage area, soda bag-in-box and nozzles.
  • Continuously monitor the bar to ensure prompt service.
  • Check glass washers for proper chemical mixture and volume
  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Open and close the bar down and complete all side work in a timely manner.
  • Restock beer and alcohol.
  • Attends all scheduled employee meetings and brings suggestions for improvement
  • Report any issues to FOH Leads, FOH Manager, and/or F&B Manager.
  • Follow the Food & Beverage Front of House Standard Operating Procedure packet

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.


EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.


MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.


CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

SERV safe Certification or Food Handler’s Card, and RBS Certified.


REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
