As the Grocery Strategic Account Manager (SAM) for Q-Commerce Serbia, you’ll own and grow the cornerstone of the Glovo app. You won't just be managing accounts; you’ll be the driving force behind how thousands of users get their daily essentials—from local artisanal shops to the country's biggest supermarket chains

YOUR MISSION

At Glovo, our mission is to revolutionize the shopping experience for millions. We strive to provide easy access to anything within cities, and to achieve this, we need a strategic, analytical, and results-driven individual to advance our QCommerce business. We are looking for a talented and ambitious Strategic Account Manager to join our QCommerce team and drive our partners' growth. THE JOURNEY

  • Build and maintain relationships with Top Glovo’s Partners in the country - establish excellent relationships through consistent and proactive communication, identifying their needs and building engagement (meetings and business reviews)

  • Draw and execute plans, making your partners grow through promos negotiations, marketing activations and menu performance (e.g., selling items, Average Order Value, Conversion Rate, etc.)

  • Be responsible for our partners business performance, analyze their main KPIs and ensure growth

  • Prepare reports and dashboards to present to partners / use as source of operational improvements

  • Get feedback from our partners and translate it into product, marketing and operations improvement

  • Onboard new partners on our platform by providing them all the necessary tools and information

  • Meet monthly and quarterly objectives defined by the company

  • Actively collaborate with your colleagues and learn from each other in a supportive environment that allows you to grow, develop and make a difference

  • Report to the Head of Q-commerce

Qualifications

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

  • Minimum 4 years of total experience in Account Management or Business Consultancy.

  • Knowledge of the Retail & Grocery industry is a significant plus

  • Proactive, organized, and obsessed with detail and accuracy

  • Sets ambitious goals and achieves business results, acts quickly, decisively and effectively. Sets priorities, analyses how to manage diverse tasks and how the choice of tasks affects productivity. Assess risks and changes direction when needed  

  • Problem solving with strong commercial and analytical skills

  • Stakeholder and relationship management -  Build long term, value-based relationships with Partners/internal stakeholders, influence and do through others, effectively push for action, get resources, remove roadblocks

  • Have excellent communication and negotiation skills

  • Autonomous and self motivated who is able to work in a highly demanding environment

  • Data-driven mentality and a result oriented mindset

  • Strategic vision - Ability to understand business and the environment in which they operate (industry), ability to see possible changes in the business, think ahead to stay competitive in the market, ability to include insights about the future into strategic plans

  • Is a reference in the field and highly knowledgeable in his/her area

  • Computer literate; good knowledge of Google Docs, MS Office and Salesforce

  • Full proficiency in Serbian and fluent in English is a must
