Security Manager

Description
Responsible for protection of the casino assets. This position will insure resources are appropriately allocated and managed to
deliver an exceptional customer experience in a clean and safe environment.
Requirements
- Create weekly work schedules for property operations departments.
- Maintain payroll records and approve PTO/Float for property operations departments
- Maintain trained staff to be utilized to protect company assets within company guidelines and State Regulation, in
- cooperation with the Enforcement and Investigative Divisions.
- Train security officers to observe all departments, Team Members, casino areas and customers for suspicious activities to maintain a safe environment.
- Interview, hire and coach Team Members for security and porter departments.
- Insure all policies and procedures are being equitably applied to all Team Members.
- Recommend changes and additional safeguards for the protection of casino assets.
- Protect the integrity and assets of the company by identifying and properly acting in accordance with all governing regulations,
- including gaming, health and alcohol awareness.
- Provide exceptional customer service to include greeting all customers in a friendly and helpful manner.
- Responsible for insuring overall cleanliness of property.
- Responsible for insuring a safe environment for all Team Members and guests.
- Responsible for insuring all OSHA requirements are met to include updated SDS books.
- Responsible for insuring all safety policies and procedures are being adhered to by all Team Members.
- Maintain cooperation with the law enforcement and gaming control board enforcement and investigation divisions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Work Environment and ADA Requirements:
Must be able to stand for entire shift. Must be able to converse over the telephone in an environment with loud background noise. Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry a minimum of 50 pounds on a regular basis. Must be able to stoop, bend and reach. Must have the manual dexterity required to write and operate computer. Must be able to listen and respond to visual and aural cues. Must be able to simultaneously handle the demands of many customers. When on casino floor, must be able to tolerate areas containing second hand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust.
