Job Summary: Area Manager based in Phoenix, AZ, leading a smaller group (12 employees) in Farmington, NM. Must possess strong leadership qualities, a strong geotechnical background, and be familiar with materials testing (soils/asphalt/concrete, special inspection). Familiar with heavy highway/municipality, residential subdivisions, commercial development, FAA, and USACE clientele. Both facilities are AMRL-certified in soils/asphalt/concrete. Knowledgeable in ICC code compliance. Manage day-to-day operations with support from a Materials Manager (Level IV NICET certified Technician – 44 years’ experience), Field Supervisor (12 years’ experience), Geotechnical Engineer (PE with 15 years’ experience), Quality Manager (PE with 40 years’ experience), and Office Business Manager (25 years’ experience). Strong geotechnical support from senior engineers located in Arizona with a combined total of over 60 years’ experience.

Duties: Oversee P&L of both facilities with leadership skills to facilitate staff needs, client interactions, proposal review, and facilities maintenance.

Education/Qualifications: BS Civil/Geotechnical with minimum 10 years’ experience.

Certifications/Licenses: Professional license in the United States (New Mexico preferred); if not, able to gain reciprocity in New Mexico within 6 months.
