About the Role

Job Summary

ID3 Group is seeking a dependable and safety-focused CDL Driver to transport scenic builds, materials, and equipment to job sites, warehouses, and event venues. This role is critical to ensuring projects are delivered on time and in excellent condition. The ideal candidate is experienced in commercial driving, understands DOT regulations, and thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on production environment.

Day in the Life

No two days at ID3 are the same—but every day plays a part in bringing large-scale scenic builds to life.

Your day typically starts at the shop in Atlanta with a pre-trip inspection, making sure your vehicle is safe, compliant, and ready to go. You connect with the Install Coordinator or Project Manager to review your schedule, routes, and any special handling instructions for the day’s deliveries.

From there, you’re hands-on with the warehouse team—loading custom scenic pieces, materials, and equipment. These builds are often one-of-a-kind, so proper handling, padding, and securement are critical.

Once on the road, you’re responsible for safe, efficient transportation, whether you’re making local deliveries or heading out on a regional run. You stay in communication with the team, providing updates and navigating any changes that come up along the way.

At the job site or venue, your role expands beyond driving. You’ll unload materials, often using forklifts or pallet jacks, and may assist install crews with staging or setup. You’re part of the bigger picture—helping ensure everything arrives ready for installation.

If you’re on a travel run, you may spend multiple days on-site, supporting the team until the job is complete. When you’re not on the road, you’re back at the shop helping organize, stage, and prep materials for upcoming projects.

Before wrapping up, you complete your post-trip inspection and DOT logs, making sure everything is documented and ready for the next day.
