A Day in the Life: Account Manager at Brumark Total Flooring Solutions

As an Account Manager, you are the bridge between vision and execution, turning client ideas into flawlessly executed flooring solutions.


Starting Strong

You kick off your day reviewing project updates, client communications, and timelines. With multiple shows and projects in motion, organization is key. You prioritize tasks, check in on active jobs, and prepare for client calls.


Before diving in, you might notice a peer-to-peer recognition shoutout in your inbox or company channel, celebrating a teammate who went above and beyond on a recent install. Client Connections

You connect with your clients, event organizers, exhibitors, and partners—to confirm details, answer questions, and ensure alignment. You’re not just managing accounts; you’re building relationships and trust.


You review layouts, discuss flooring options, and walk clients through recommendations. Your understanding of room dimensions, layouts, and materials helps guide them toward the best solutions for their event.


Precision in Planning

With project details in hand, you dive into estimating and proposal development. Using your strong math skills and attention to detail, you calculate square footage, material needs, and costs.

You review renderings  and floor plans, ensuring every measurement is accurate. In this role, precision matters, because what you plan today becomes what’s built tomorrow.


Team Collaboration

After lunch, you sync with internal teams, production, logistics, and installation. At Brumark, collaboration is everything. You work closely with these teams to ensure every project runs smoothly from warehouse to show floor.


Whether it’s confirming inventory, adjusting timelines, or solving a last-minute challenge, you’re part of a team that steps up for each other.


Problem Solving & Progress Tracking

Projects evolve, and you’re always one step ahead. You monitor timelines, budgets, and deliverables, proactively addressing changes before they become issues.

You provide updates to clients, keeping them informed and confident. Your ability to stay calm under pressure and solve problems quickly is what sets you apart.

What It Takes to Succeed

  • Strong background in account management, ideally in tradeshows or flooring 
  • Confidence in math and spatial reasoning (room dimensions, layouts, takeoffs)
