We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the Finance Office.

  



Major Duties and Responsibilities

The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following:

  • Prepare management reports and financial analysis for the University;
  • Coordinate annual budget and mid-year review exercises;
  • Compile variance analysis and provide clear financial commentaries;
  • Develop, monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs);
  • Support investment-related matters, including performance monitoring and reporting;
  • Assist in treasury and cash management, including cash flow planning and bank dealings;
  • Prepare standard operating procedures; and
  • Support ad hoc financial analysis, management projects and ad-hoc tasks as required

 

Candidates 

Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence:

  • A recognized degree in accountancy or equivalent;
  • Qualified accountant with at least 4 years’ post-qualification experience gained from sizable companies or organizations;
  • Self-motivated, organized with strong communication skill and sense of ownership;
  • Able to work in a dynamic environment under pressure and tight timelines;
  • Logical mind with service mindset, self-motivated with strong sense of responsibility; and
  • Hands-on experience in relevant areas is highly desirable.

 

 

Terms and Conditions for Appointment

An attractive remuneration package, including basic salary, an end-of-contract gratuity, and a discretionary incentive payment, where applicable, will be offered to the right candidates.
