Headquartered in Colorado Springs CO, Exigo provides services to the Government in El Segundo CA, Boulder CO, Colorado Springs CO, Denver CO, Albuquerque NM, and the National Capital Region.

About the Role:

The Contracts Administrator plays a critical role in overseeing and managing all aspects of contract administration within the organization, ensuring compliance with federal acquisition regulations and government contracting requirements. The Contracts Administrator will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including legal, finance, and project management to ensure contract terms are clearly understood and executed effectively. Ultimately, this role ensures that all contracts are managed efficiently and ethically, supporting the organization's strategic goals and maintaining strong relationships with government agencies and commercial partners.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Contract Management, Law, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in contract administration with a focus on federal acquisition and government contracting.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and government procurement processes.
  • Proven experience negotiating and managing commercial and government contracts.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate contract terms and conditions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification such as Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) or Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM).
  • Familiarity with contract management software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
  • Experience working within a large government contractor or defense industry environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Management of post-award contract lifecycle including scope modifications, Period of Performance (PoP) extensions , and closeout of federal and commercial contracts.
  • Ensure compliance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and other applicable government contracting regulations.
  • Monitor contract performance to ensure adherence to scope, schedule, and budget. Track contract deliverables, milestones, and funding.
  • Prepare and review contract documentation, correspondence, and reports to maintain accurate records and support audits.
  • Provide guidance and training to team members and other departments on contract management best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for contract-related inquiries and resolve any disputes or issues that arise during contract execution.

The Contracts Administrator will maintain Exigo’s existing contract portfolio, ensuring all agreements comply with federal acquisition regulations and organizational policies. Expertise in government contracting and the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) is essential for interpreting complex regulatory requirements and applying them to contract negotiations and management. Strong negotiation skills are employed to secure favorable terms and resolve disputes effectively, while commercial contract knowledge supports diverse business dealings beyond government contracts. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are critical for drafting clear contract documents, collaborating with stakeholders, and providing training and guidance across the organization.
