About the role

 

The Operational Control Centre (OCC) Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing daily airport operations across OCC and PRM functions, ensuring activities are delivered safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with regulatory, customer, and Swissport standards. This role is central to real-time operational control, disruption management, stakeholder coordination, service performance, and continuous improvement.

The successful candidate will drive safety, operational excellence, customer service, team leadership, KPI performance, and cost efficiency, while building strong relationships with customers, airport authorities, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth and effective service delivery.

 

About You

 

You are an experienced operational leader with a minimum of 3 years’ or more management experience, ideally within a fast-paced, safety-critical environment. You bring a strong sense of customer service, a proactive leadership style, and the ability to manage day-to-day operations while maintaining high standards of safety, compliance, and service delivery.

 

You are a confident communicator who can build strong working relationships with internal teams, airline customers, airport authorities, and other key stakeholders. You thrive under pressure, are able to make sound decisions in real time, and can effectively lead teams through operational challenges, disruptions, and changing priorities.

With a strong focus on operational excellence, you are committed to driving performance, supporting continuous improvement, and fostering a positive safety culture. You are passionate about leading and developing teams, ensuring compliance with procedures and standards, and delivering efficient, customer-focused outcomes.
