HOACNY provides cancer care services, Monday through Friday, day hours at three convenient locations in East Syracuse, Camillus and Auburn. Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Radiation Department


  

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (AP) to join our Radiation Oncology team. This Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will play an integral role in the comprehensive care of oncology patients receiving radiation therapy, focusing on symptom management, treatment-related toxicities, and follow-up care.

Requirements

Graduate of a school of nursing.

Graduate of an approved Nurse Practitioner Program (MS preferred)

Graduate of a Physician Assistant Program and Licensed in NYS

Authorized to Issue prescriptions pursuant to Section 6902 (3) (b) of the Education Law having completed instruction satisfactory to the department in New York State and Federal laws and regulations relating to prescriptions and record keeping and in accordance with the practice agreement and practice protocols.

Five years professional nursing experience in a hospital or clinic setting with 1-2 years in an advanced practice provider role or 1-2 years in an Oncology Advanced Practice Provider role preferred
