About the Role

The Warehouse Assistant supports daily logistics operations working with our dispatch department and estimators. Key responsibilities include communicating clearly with vendors, and customers via phone, email, and messaging tools. 


This role must be able to input data into various tracking systems, maintain documentation (ie. BOLs, proof of deliver), track assets, and escalate exceptions such as delays, shortages, or service issues. This position will collaborate with dispatch, operations, warehouse, and third-party customers. 


Manage and organize inventory across warehouse facilities. Receive, tag, and track incoming shipments. Document inbound and outbound freight, including photo documentation and job tracking. Coordinate with customers and internal teams regarding shipments and inventory. Must be able to operate forklifts and warehouse equipment safely. This position will be moving heavy equipment by forklift; this position is more than just using a pallet jack or forklift to move pallets. 


It’s essential that you keep the warehouse organized in order to keep a safe/clean warehouse and yard. Organized, detail-oriented, and dependable. Comfortable working in a warehouse and outdoor yard environment. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining accurate documentation. Team player with a strong work ethic.
