About the Role

Description

 We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Automotive Parts Counterperson to join our team. This role is responsible for assisting customers and technicians with parts selection, ensuring accurate orders, and maintaining efficient inventory operations. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist retail customers and service technicians in identifying and purchasing the correct parts
  • Look up parts using electronic catalogs and manufacturer systems
  • Process parts orders, invoices, and returns accurately
  • Maintain organized inventory and stock levels
  • Receive, label, and stock incoming parts shipments
  • Coordinate with the service department to ensure timely parts availability
  • Provide pricing, availability, and product information to customers
  • Keep the parts department clean and organized
  • Follow all company procedures and safety guidelines

Requirements

  •  Previous automotive parts experience preferred
  • Basic knowledge of automotive systems and components
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Computer proficiency and ability to learn parts catalog systems
  • Valid driver’s license
