Job Description

This position is primarily responsible for supporting the development and execution of communications and content to ensure messaging is consistent, accurate, and aligned with established brand and campaign objectives.

Essential Functions:

  • Brand Messaging & Storytelling Support:
    • Assist in developing and executing brand messaging across channel platforms.
    • Support storytelling initiatives that build the brand in collaboration with marketing team members.
    • Ensure communications follow established brand guidelines and align with team direction.
    • Gather and share feedback from internal teams to help improve messaging consistency and effectiveness.
    • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to support project needs and resource alignment.
  • Member Communication & Campaign Coordination:
    • Support the execution of the member communication calendar, ensuring deadlines are met.
    • Assist with asset coordination, content preparation, and deployment across channels.
    • Help maintain organized communication workflows with internal teams and external vendors.
    • Track campaign timelines and flag potential delays or issues.
    • Assist in monitoring communication performance and compiling basic reports.
  • Communication & Marketing Execution:
    • Apply established best practices in day-to-day communication and marketing tasks.
    • Support operational processes to ensure efficient campaign execution.
    • Maintain working knowledge of relevant platforms (e.g., email, social media) and assist with updates.
    • Contribute to team efforts to improve marketing effectiveness through executional support.
  • Quality Assurance & Brand Compliance Support:
    • Assist in proofreading and reviewing content for brand and style guideline adherence (e. g., AP style).
    • Follow established QA processes to ensure accuracy and consistency.
    • Help identify errors and escalate issues as needed.
    • Support the use of tools and processes that improve accuracy and efficiency.
  • Bank Secrecy Act: Remains cognizant of and adheres to Wings policies and procedures, and regulations pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act.

Qualifications

Minimum Formal Qualifications for this Position

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, English, Business or a related field.
  • 1+ years' experience in Marketing communications planning and execution or related experience. 
  • 1+ years' experience in marketing financial services and/or products preferred.

Technical or Specialized Knowledge/Skills:

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to write compelling messages across multiple channels for different demographic targets.
  • Ability to manage difficult/delicate messaging with both tact and professionalism while maintaining brand integrity.
  • Skill to drive effective stories/messages across a wide range of financial topics.
  • Capable of balancing competing demands of the organization and business units through appropriate management of time, vendors, and marketing resources.
  • Understanding of AP writing style.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Organizational skills.

Additional Information

PAY RANGE: $31.50 - $36.50 per hour (S14), plus 10% annual target bonus.
Final compensation for this position will be determined by various factors such as relevant work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, certifications, location and internal pay equity.
