We're looking for a Power Station Operator who will be responsible for day-to-day monitoring, operating, maintenance, and repair of power generation equipment at various customer sites.

This is a dedicated role servicing one of our major clients flying directly to site.

What you'll do:

• Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures and promote a safe working environment for all employees and contractors.

• Repair and maintain power generation equipment at customer sites, ensuring all safety protocols are followed and equipment is fully operational.

• Conduct preventative and reactive maintenance of power generation equipment, including troubleshooting and diagnosing faults as they arise.

• Respond to emergency repair calls and breakdowns in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring minimal downtime for the customer.

• Keep accurate records of work performed, including parts used, labour hours, and expenses, and provide detailed reports to the Field Delivery Manager.

• Maintain a high level of client satisfaction by providing exceptional customer service and communicating effectively with customers to ensure their needs are met.

• Participate in safety meetings and training programs.

To thrive in this role, you'll have the following skills and experience:

• Qualified Electrician with a WA- A Grade Electrical License.

• Valid Driver’s License.

• Minimum of 1-3 years' experience working with power generation equipment.

• Strong technical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose complex issues.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to safety.

• HV switching highly desirable

• Computer literate
