Banquet Server

Description

Fircrest Golf Club is seeking a high energy, member focused Banquets Server who will enhance member and guest dining by delivering exceptional service.

Essential Functions / Initial Priorities

• Promptly address members when entering banquet spaces and accurately record their food & beverage orders
• Assist with expo and ensure food & beverages are prepared according to orders taken
• Communicate specials and details about offerings
• Accurately charge members/guests using our POS system
• Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety standards for members/guests and employees
• Reports issues to supervisors/management that require mediation and/or corrective action
• Participates in member dining events, entertainment and other programs that drive the usage, satisfaction and financial success of the food and beverage operations
• Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established by Director and GM from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position

Requirements

Specific Position Requirements

• Maintain food handlers certification
• Maintain MAST certification
• Good attendance and appearance
• Solid communication with an all-inclusive, teamwork mindset
• Ability to maintain composure while under pressure, maintaining timelines and/or deadlines

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, stand and lift 30 pounds
• Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time
• Must have fluid mobility, often while carrying items, for extended periods
• Moderate to severe noise level in the work environment
• Must have daytime, evening, weekend, and holiday schedule availability
