[For Research Project “[Enhancing convenience within housing spaces for older adults in Hong Kong: A qualitative investigation of users’ viewpoints on the adoption and implementation of technology]” (Project No. R6882)
Major Duties and Responsibilities
The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following:
- Reviewing and summarizing relevant literature;
- Performing qualitative data and text analysis;
- Organizing and coding qualitative data; and
- Providing assistance in preparing short reports.
Candidates
Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence:
- A recognized Bachelor’s degree or above in Real Esate, Housing Economics, Health Management, Health Analytics or related disciplines. For candidates with Bachelor’s degree, an ongoing post-graduate study in related disciplines will be an advantage;
- Skilled in the use of text analytical softwares such as Nvivo; knowledgeable and experienced with the management of qualitative data;
- A good command of written and spoken English;
- A good command of written and spoken Cantonese. Ability to transcribe Mandarin will be an advantage; and
- Detail-oriented, hardworking, responsible, able to work independently and meet deadlines.
Successful candidate will be appointed on a temporary part-time contract. Benefits will be provided in accordance with the statutory provisions.
