About the Role

Job Title: Bridge File Clerk / Researcher || Indianapolis, IN || Hybrid

Summary:
Support the Federal Bridge File Project by researching, compiling, and digitizing bridge documentation.

Responsibilities:

  • Research and compile bridge files from multiple systems

  • Scan, convert (TIF to PDF), and organize documents

  • Audit files and document any gaps or issues

  • Coordinate with archive teams for missing data

  • Maintain records, track progress, and prepare reports

Requirements:

  • 1+ year experience in file research, auditing, and digitization

  • Knowledge of file conversion and digital storage systems

  • Strong Excel skills

  • Good communication and organizational abilities

  • Ability to work independently and handle detailed tasks

Preferred:

  • Experience with large-scale documentation or archival projects
