POSITION SUMMARY

 We are seeking a Patient Services Representative (PSR) to support both our Main Street and Harbour View locations. This role is responsible for greeting and checking in patients, scheduling appointments, and ensuring a smooth checkout process. The PSR will also provide general administrative support and assist with clinical duties as needed. 


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Greet patients
  • Check in patients and assist with individual concerns, as they arise
  • Collect appropriate information including insurance overview, co-pay and deductible assignment and open balances
  • Performs administrative tasks and must be cross trained on medical assistant responsibilities to provide support as needed
  • Other tasks, as assigned



Requirements

 QUALIFICATIONS/ EDUCATION/ CRITICAL SKILLS

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of 2 years in a healthcare position preferred 
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of computers and office equipment
  • Patient-focused with the ability to work independently
  • Capability to adapt quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment
