JOB SUMMARY:

Namify’s Nametag Line Manager position will be responsible for the workflow of orders to processing and time management to ensure all orders all produced and sent to clients on time. This person will manage all Nametags including, full color, laser, and rotary lines.


JOB RESPONSIBILIES:

  • Mastery of alias flow of orders and their relationship to other departments.
  • Inventory counts, maintaining a well-stocked department and partnering with Purchasing to place orders as necessary.
  • Problem solving issues pertaining to the team, the equipment, process and workload
  • Motivating team to ensure high performance and effective time management
  • Ability to run all machines, and actively work to fine tune processes
  • Overseeing machine operators and processors, managing reports to reduce corrected orders, issuing Improvement Plans as needed.
  • Effective communication and coordination with sales reps
  • Content development and leadership of daily morning meetings, participation in weekly production management meetings and preparation for monthly meeting with Director of Operations
  • Making sure that orders are being moved at the end of the day
  • Managing schedules effectively to ensure orders are completed in a timely manner
  • Overseeing training and cross training
  • Supervise processing of volume orders.
  • Hold team accountable to quality and speed requirements.
  • Take care of our customers by providing excellent quality and fast service.
  • Continued education on topics directly relating to the department.
  • Assist with occasional piecework/processing jobs as needed.
  • Ensure employees are abiding by safety guidelines and using appropriate PPE at all times
  • All other duties as assigned

Requirements

Must have proper documentation for employment in the United States

Must perform Pre-Employment drug test


 

 REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: 

  • Bilingual preferred
  • 1+ years of Production Manager experience
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of employee
  • Must have great attention to detail, even with repetitive processes
  • Must be able to follow instructions, both written and verbal
  • Must be able to work under deadlines and quotas
  • Be able to work in a team environment and alone
  • Must by a problem-solver and look for out-of-the-box solutions
  • Must be process driven, challenge the status quo, and always looking for efficiencies and improvements


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma.
  • Minimum of 18 years of age.
  • Ability to work with computers and tablets.

 

THIS POSITION REPORTS TO:

  • Director of Fulfillment

SCHEDULE:

  • Monday to Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm (Full-time)

WORK SPACE INFO:  

This job operates in a warehouse environment which requires standing, moving, lifting, and operating machinery and computers. Personal Protection Equipment may be required. Safety training is mandatory and employees must be able to pass basic safety requirements.


TRAINING:

Training for this position will be completed by the department manager. Training will consist of education on key processes, preparation and staging requirements by customer, location of tools, supplies and materials. You will be trained on how to use the order interface, how to properly read orders and where to look for notes. Additional training will be completed as processes evolve or as required.


SAFETY:

Namify enforces a safety culture whereby all employees have the responsibility for continuously developing and maintaining a safe working environment.  Each incumbent is responsible for completing all training requirements and fulfilling self-aid/buddy-aid responsibilities, participating in emergency response tasks as requested, and serving on safety committees and teams as requested.  In addition, the incumbent must accept that they have responsibility for maintaining the safety of themselves and others by adhering to all written and verbal instructions, promptly reporting and/or correcting all hazards or unsafe conditions, questioning nonstandard operations or environmental factors that may involve unmitigated hazards, and providing feedback to site leads and management on all safety issues.
