About the Role

Summary of Position

 ADC Attendant is responsible for accepting, pre-sorting and loading donated goods at various Attended Donation Centers while providing exceptional customer service to our Donors. 


 Role and Responsibilities

  • Open and close the store location and ensures all doors, money and credit card receipts are secured.
  • Provide excellent customer service to Donors Accept, presort and place donations in proper containers.
  •  Maintains stock in store by removing books from shelves as needed *applicable stores only. 
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment. 
  • Accurately record the donations on the donation count list. 
  • Accurately complete store report and report sales daily. 
  • Verifies accuracy of the truck/trailer seals on doors and equipment manifest.
  • Other duties as assigned. 

 

Supervisory Responsibility

This position does not have supervisory responsibilities. 


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proficiency in English and basic math skills. 
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on a regular basis. 
  • Hands on experience with POS transactions.

 

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work in both a climate and non-climate-controlled facility.
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at times.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, and talk or hear. 
  • The ability to cope with and tolerate moderate levels of stress is also a necessity. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
