We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Executive Chef to lead our kitchen operations across our Bistro, Bar and premium events offering.
This is a rare opportunity to step into a senior leadership role where you will shape the culinary direction, lead a high-performing team, and play a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences.
About the Role:
As Executive Chef, you will take ownership of all kitchen operations, from day-to-day service through to long-term strategy. As a hands-on leader, you will thrive working alongside your team while driving performance, consistency and innovation.
You will lead a diverse kitchen environment supporting buffet breakfast, high-volume Bistro, and premium functions and events. This role is as much about people and culture as it is about food, with a strong focus on building an engaged team that delivers consistently high standards. Your expertise will play a key role in maintaining the efficiency, profitability and creativity of our offering, making you an integral part of SkyPoint’s success.
Some of the key responsibilities include:
- Lead all kitchen operations to deliver high-quality, consistent, and commercially successful outcomes
- Design and evolve menus that are innovative, on-brand, and profitable
- Drive cost control across labour, COGS, and inventory management
- Ensure food safety, compliance, and kitchen standards are consistently met
- Coach, develop, and inspire a high-performing team
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, and performance
About You
You are not just a strong chef – you are a leader who builds teams and drives results. You bring:
- Proven experience in a senior kitchen leadership role (Head Chef / Executive Chef / Senior Sous Chef)
- Strong commercial acumen across labour, COGS and menu costing
- A passion for quality, consistency and guest experience
- The ability to lead from the front in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative leadership style
- A commitment to safety, compliance and continuous improvement
