Job Title: Finance Manager - Manufacturing/Operations (6-8 Years)

Job Location: Bangalore

What you'll do?

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

  • Own plant P&L with accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual close and reporting.

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long‑range planning for the plant.

  • Drive variance analysis across COGS, overheads, productivity, scrap, and absorption.

  • Link financial results to operational KPIs and shop‑floor drivers.

Cash Flow & Working Capital

  • Manage rolling plant cash flow forecasts (daily, weekly, monthly).

  • Optimize working capital across inventory, payables, and receivables.

  • Track capex spend and conduct post‑implementation ROI reviews.

Cost Accounting & Costing

  • Own product costing, standard cost updates, cost roll‑ups, BOMs, and routings.

  • Maintain costing models covering material, labor, overheads, yield, and scrap.

  • Ensure accurate overhead absorption, margin visibility, and pricing support.

  • Identify and track cost and margin improvement opportunities.

Operations Finance Partnership

  • Act as finance partner to Plant Manager and teams across Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Quality.

  • Support productivity initiatives, capacity planning, S&OP, and continuous improvement efforts.

Controls & Governance

  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and statutory requirements.

  • Independently manage audits and strengthen inventory controls, cycle counts, and physical verification.

What will you bring?

Experience & Qualifications

  • Chartered Accountant / Certified Management Accountant / Master of Business Administration (Finance) or equivalent.

  • 6–8 years of manufacturing or plant finance experience with P&L and costing ownership.

  • Experience operating independently in an individual contributor role without team management.

Skills & Capabilities

  • Strong understanding of manufacturing economics and cost drivers.

  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling; Power BI exposure preferred.

  • ERP experience (SAP preferred) with strong process discipline.

Personal Attributes & Mobility

  • Hands‑on, execution‑focused, and accountable for outcomes.

  • Strong business partnering and influencing skills without formal authority.

  • High integrity, analytical rigor, and attention to detail.

  • Willingness to travel to manufacturing site on a monthly basis.
