Job Summary

Provide exceptional customer service before, during, and after the checkout process. Operates cash registers, self-checkouts, and online ordering system to ensure smooth and efficient transactions. 

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service
• Execute proper cash handling and payment  processing in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Apply discounts, coupons, and applicable  promotions as appropriate during checkout process
• Preforms drawer audit at the start and end of  assigned shift
• Monitor Self-Checkouts to address customer  issues and ensure smooth transactions
• Conduct curbside ordering, picking &  packing in accordance with company policy and procedure
• Follow proper bagging procedures when bagging  groceries as needed
• Have approximate knowledge of store layout and  product locations
• Maintain a clean and safe front end
• Performs other duties as assigned

Working Conditions

Works in a non-smoking store environment where there is occasional discomfort due to exposure to dust/pollen, elements, temperatures changes, and infrequent environmental noise.

Requirements

Education And Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required
• 1+ years of Customer Service Experience is  strongly preferred
• 6+ months of Cashiering or Cash Handling  experience is strongly preferred
