CDL Delivery Driver – 1st Shift - 4-day work week, 3-day weekends!!


Looking for a dependable CDL driver who wants stable work, competitive pay, excellent benefits and the opportunity to be home daily.   


General Beer Northeast, a large distributor in Little Chute, Wi, is looking for a Full-time Delivery Driver who is primarily responsible to delivery product (beer) to customers in a designated route, rotate stock, and to stock shelves and displays.


We are looking for an energetic, self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic, excellent customer service skills and a strong sense of responsibility to join and contribute to our GB team.


Schedule:

You will enjoy a 4-day work week (Tuesday – Friday) working 4/10’s. NO WEEKENDS! Early start and home every evening.


Compensation:

$26/hour

Potential to Earn additional income via the Safe Driver Award Bonus and Driver Retention Bonus

Requirements


Qualified applicants must possess the following:

  • Builds rapport with colleagues and retailers, and is welcoming to all 
  • Able to reach, twist and bend, and get in and out of truck repeatedly throughout the day 
  • Able to lift up to 175 lbs. multiple times a day 
  • Can operate a 2-wheel hand cart on stairs and operate power assisted cart equipment 
  • Can read, write, add, subtract, multiply and divide at high school equivalency level 
  • Proficient using a computer or tablet and able to learn job specific programs 
  • Must have a valid Driver’s license Class A CDL
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and lift test  

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: 

  • Check vehicle maintenance checklist and count daily truckload with warehouse personnel and verify against load sheets before leaving distribution center.??? 
  • Complete all assigned stops with professional and courteous service 
  • Check-in merchandise with the responsible receiving individual and follow company credit policies and procedures.? 
  • Rotate and merchandise products, including stocking shelves, displays, coolers, and storage rooms as needed.??? 
  • Safeguard and account for company invoices, cash, checks, and other forms of payment and all company property under their control.?? 
  • Complete internal control records, invoices, and reports properly and accurately.???? 
  • Operate company equipment safely and according to company guidelines.?? 
  • Keep truck neat and clean and report all equipment service problems in a timely manner.? 
  • Communicate with Operations or Warehouse Manager on questions and/or issues, preparing driver notes as needed.??? 
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
