What You’ll Do

The Compensation & Benefits Specialist is responsible for administering and continuously improving the organization’s benefits programs while supporting compensation processes and HR operations through data, systems expertise, and operational guidance. This role owns benefits execution, serves as the HRIS subject-matter expert, supports compensation pricing and job development, and provides reporting and analytics to inform workforce decisions. The position partners with HR leadership, payroll, Talent Acquisition, and field leaders to ensure accurate program administration, regulatory compliance, and practical Total Rewards support across the organization.


Your day-to-day may include:

· Lead administration of all employee benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, workers’ compensation, leave programs, and retirement plans

· Collaborate with brokers and carriers on renewals, plan design updates, employee education, and issue resolution

· Manage benefits enrollment, employee communications, billing reconciliation, and compliance with federal and state regulations

· Develop and maintain workforce reporting and dashboards to support HR and leadership decision-making

· Provide advanced support for payroll-related escalations and cross-functional operational issues impacting pay or benefits

· Partner with HR team members and leaders to provide guidance, coaching, and practical recommendations related to Total Rewards and HR systems

Requirements

What You Bring

· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field, or comparable professional experience

· At least 4 years of experience in benefits administration, compensation support, HR operations, or related HR roles

· Knowledge of employee benefits administration and applicable federal and state regulations

· Understanding of compensation benchmarking concepts, job evaluation principles, and market data interpretation

· Familiarity with HRIS platforms, workforce data management, and payroll processes

The expected compensation range for this position is $90,000 – $110,000, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
