Position Summary:


As a Shift Lead at Olly Olly Market, you will oversee day-to-day operations during assigned shifts within the food hall. This role is responsible for ensuring a high-quality guest experience, supporting smooth coordination between vendors, and maintaining efficient execution of service standards. You will act as the primary on-the-ground leader during your shift, supporting staff and vendors, troubleshooting issues as they arise, and helping maintain a clean, organized, and well-run environment. 


Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Lead front-of-house operations during assigned shifts, ensuring the food hall is clean, organized, and fully guest-ready at all times
  • Act as the main point of contact between vendors, staff, and management, handling real-time issues and escalating when needed
  • Monitor vendor readiness, service times, and overall performance to support a smooth and consistent guest experience
  • Provide a welcoming and professional presence on the floor, addressing guest questions, feedback, and concerns in real time
  • Support peak service moments across the space as needed, including assisting vendors or stepping into service areas
  • Supervise and support hourly staff, maintaining accountability, floor coverage, and clear communication throughout the shift
  • Help train and guide team members on service standards and day-to-day operations
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization across all shared spaces, including seating areas, restrooms, and common areas
  • Conduct regular walkthroughs to ensure safety, cleanliness, and overall readiness of the space
  • Assist with execution of on-site events and programming, helping coordinate logistics and maintain a smooth guest flow
  • Complete shift reports and log important updates, incidents, and operational notes
  • Support inventory tracking of shared supplies and communicate restocking needs
  • Assist with opening and closing responsibilities, including closing the facility in line with established procedures

Requirements

About You:

  • 2+ years of experience in hospitality, with at least 1 year in a lead or supervisory role preferred; food hall or multi-concept experience is a plus
  • Comfortable leading a shift and supporting a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communiction skills with the ability to interact confidently with guests, vendors, and staff
  • Able to stay organized, think on your feet, and troubleshoot issues in real time
  • Reliable, accountable, and able to take initiative without constant direction
  • Positive, team-oriented approach with a focus on maintaining a strong floor presence
  • Comfortable multitasking and prioritizing in a high-volume setting
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Comfortable standing and moving throughout a full shift
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40–50 lbs as needed
